  • Facility includes operations for rescue hoists, digital data systems and software development

CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Goodrich Corporation (NYSE: GR) held a ribbon‑cutting ceremony today to mark the opening of its new facility in Brea, Calif. The ceremony, attended by civic leaders as well as Goodrich employees, included a tour of production, design and development areas within the new 105,000 square foot site. The facility is part of Goodrich's Sensors and Integrated Systems business, and employs approximately 260 people in high tech disciplines including engineering, manufacturing, and administrative functions.

The Brea site will provide rescue hoists, cargo winches, digital data systems and in‑flight entertainment products and related services for the aerospace and defense industry. Our business is growing, and consolidating our two nearby sites into the Brea location allows us to better leverage our talented workforce and other resources to grow our business for years to come," he added.
